Chip McDonald has been a musician, guitar/bass teacher in the Augusta Georgia region since 1986. As the founding member of the Beatles tribute group Number Nine, he has played to sellout crowds and helped raise over $120,000 donated to charity. Present and past students include members of many local, regional and national music groups, as well as other guitar teachers in the area.
I do not teach from a book - and I'm not trying to sell you one - or an amp, or a guitar!
Everybody has different motivations, and I try to maximize what YOU want to learn or accomplish. Whether it's just strumming some chords on a song, getting good enough to play in a band, write your own music, learn theory, playing an advanced guitar solo - I'll try to get you there!
I have various 30 minute time slots available Monday-Friday, 2:00 to 7:00.
Lessons are $80 a month for 4 30 minute lessons regularly scheduled once a week.
I accept beginners to the advanced, young and old; children under age 12 is $120 a month.
You can call me at 706-210-1957, although leaving a text message or sending an email to chip@chipmcdonald.com may be faster.
